She and Daddy are still living in their home but it's becoming more and more difficult.
Dave's Mom lived with us 6 of the last 8 of her years; it was hard but I have no regrets.
Keep praying, so will I.Thistle Cove Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15722295191884810953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8501286388453397803.post-19639580208189180052014-06-21T04:34:29.229-07:002014-06-21T04:34:29.229-07:00Lee, I understand completely your situation becaus...Lee, I understand completely your situation because my mothers and yours are the same age and in the same situation, onky if different states. My mother also does not want to leave her NJ home and it is increeasingly more difficult for her to get around. She does have daytime care and now a bed on the first floor to alleviate going upstairs. My brother leaves not too far and also helps out a lot.
When we do visit NJ there also is precious little time to visit with friends, who live there as it is also my native state.
But unlike you, neither my brother or myself could not have my mother live in our home. We love her, but her personality can be very disagreeable and there would be more arguements disrupting other lives.
It is indeed sad to watch loved ones age, but we are also in a similar situation.Beatrice P.
